Privacy policy

Brand School is operated by SellerMate Cloud Service & Datacenter Providers FZCO, DSO-IFZA, IFZA Properties, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use Brand School and what we do with it. In short: we collect what we need to guide you, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

What we collect

• Your email address, so you can sign in with a one-time link.
• Your answers and progress: the choices you tap, your brand details, quests you complete, and your plan.
• Your messages with your mentor, so it can reply in context. We keep a copy of each question and reply, even if you clear the chat in the app, and the Brand School team reads them to check and improve your mentor's advice. Ask us and we'll delete them.
• If you sign up for the Sunday Brief: your email address and the page you signed up on. We use it only to send that email. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and signing up for the Sunday Brief doesn't create a Brand School account.
• Basic technical data like browser type and pages visited, to keep the service running and understand what's used.

How we use it

• To run Brand School for you: your plan, quests, playbooks and mentor replies.
• To improve the product, mostly by looking at patterns across many founders rather than individuals.
• To contact you about your account.
• To send you an occasional newsletter about Brand School and building a brand. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing doesn't change your account, your progress or any nudges you turned on.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your details for advertising.

The public live feed

Our Live page may show short descriptions of what Brand School did, such as "named a candle brand". These never include your name, email, brand name or anything that identifies you.

Who helps us run it

We use a small number of providers to deliver the service:

• Supabase for sign-in and storing your account data.
• Vercel for hosting the website and app.
• Resend to send our emails (sign-in codes and newsletters).
• Anthropic to power the AI brand mentor. When you message your mentor, your message and relevant profile details are sent to generate a reply.

These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside your country.

Keeping it safe

Your account data can only be read by your account. Connections are encrypted. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices

• Ask for a copy of your data.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Stop using Brand School at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days, except where we must keep it by law.

Children

Brand School is for people aged 18 and over.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app.
